The Spanish Long Game is being built to document a real learning experience first. If the site later earns money from a recommendation, you should be able to see that relationship before deciding whether to click or buy.

I submitted an application to the Rocket Languages affiliate program on August 13, 2026. The decision is pending. The Spanish Long Game has not been approved, currently contains no Rocket Languages affiliate links, and receives no commission from Rocket Languages.
I plan to pay for Rocket Spanish myself. Rocket Languages has not asked for, reviewed, approved, or influenced the findings published here.

How future affiliate links will work.
Some links may become affiliate links. If you follow one of those links and make a qualifying purchase, I may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. The seller—not this site—sets the price, payment terms, refund policy, and eligibility for any offer.
A plain-language disclosure will appear on the relevant page before or immediately beside its first affiliate link. Affiliate links will also be marked for search engines as sponsored links.
Editorial independence
A commission will not turn an experiment into an endorsement.
Affiliate approval, if granted, would not give Rocket Languages editorial control. It would not guarantee a positive rating, early access to findings, or the removal of criticism. Results will continue to be tied to dated checkpoints and logged study hours, including the parts that fail or disappoint.
- No star rating before there is enough use to support one
- No invented outcomes, urgency, savings, or testimonials
- Product facts separated from personal observations
- Prices and offer terms checked and dated when they are mentioned
- Material gifts, free access, sponsorships, or other relationships disclosed if they ever occur

Other products
The same rule applies beyond Rocket Spanish.
If this site later uses affiliate links for another course, book, tutoring service, or learning tool, the same disclosure standard will apply. A product will not be presented as personally tested unless I have actually used it, and the extent of that use will be stated.
